Tropical Hockey is an independent Miami company, founded 2026, inspired in part by the 1938–39 Tropical Hockey League. This policy explains what we collect on tropicalhockey.com, why, and what your choices are. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we don’t sell any of it.
The email address you give us. When you sign up for updates, we store the address you enter, the date you signed up, and nothing else about you.
Basic analytics. If you allow cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect simple, aggregated usage information — pages visited and rough traffic sources — to understand how people find us. If you choose “disallow” on the cookie bar, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
We use your email to send occasional updates about our launch and, if you signed up during the giveaway period, to enter you in the first-edition giveaway and contact you if you win. We won’t sell your email, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Ever.
A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. We use one cookie to remember your consent choice, and — only if you allow it — Google Analytics cookies as described above. You can change your mind anytime via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Only the service providers that make the site run: our hosting provider, our email delivery service, and — if you allow cookies — Google Analytics (Google LLC), each of which processes data on our behalf and no further. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form only.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address entirely by writing to hello@tropicalhockey.com — we’ll take care of it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights to access, correct, or delete your data; email us and we’ll honor them.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child gave us an email address, contact us and we’ll delete it.
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, note it on the site before it takes effect.
Questions about privacy: hello@tropicalhockey.com.
